It's surprising how much stuff two adults and a 4 year old can bring on holiday; nearly as surprising is that it all managed to fit in the boot of the Mazda without too much hassle.
We got back to Debbie's, unpacked, showered and then Lily decided it was time to teach Auntie Debbie the dance for her show (planned for the next day). You could tell Lily was really excited as she was a little chatterbox and kept running back and forwards along the hall.
Once everything had calmed down we headed out to The Odd Spot for coffee and brunch (while Ali got organised to go to see the Australia vs England rugby match).
Three egg & bacon toasties and some toast and bacon for Lily - coffee was pretty good too.
After brunch we headed back to Debbie's for a lie down (this was our first mistake as it was a difficult to wake Lily up again).
Once we were all awake we piled into the car and headed to Willaimstown beach for a play in the park (and a scoot along the front). We lasted all of ten minutes as it was really breezy and all Lily really wanted to do was go back to Debbie's.
Dinner was homemade burgers cooked on the BBQ, a nice bottle of sparkling wine followed by Laura's favourite Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc.
Ali got back from the rugby (quite happy that the Aussies had beaten England) just in time to help us polish off the Cloudy Bay.
Bed time for Laura and I was 8pm but as Lily had slept earlier she stayed up a little longer with Auntie Debbie and went to bed around 9pm.
